Winemaker & Owner - Attila Kovacs-Szabo
Having been born and raised in Holland, Attila’s European upbringing introduced him to wine and its relationship to food at an early age. His travels throughout Europe have given him an appreciation of different cultures, and the myriad of the things each has to offer.
Early on, Attila started collecting wine--always fascinated and intrigued by wines and their wide variety of characteristics. Along with collecting wines, he enjoys organizing and putting on wine tastings. Sharing knowledge about wine and the social aspects surrounding it makes experiencing wine both fun and interesting.
His passion for and interest in wines led Attila to volunteer at local wineries. After several years of helping out, he and his best friend Micole took the next step and started making wine. A few years later, with the support and encouragement from his wife Laurelee, Attila pursued his dream and started Trouvaille Winery.
We believe it’s not just about the wine, it’s about the whole experience: great wine, great food, wonderful family and friends, and the ambiance of the moment.
